Indrajit Ghosh was employed by American
Management Systems, Inc. in the
eCommerce division located in Fairfax, VA, U.S.A. He has experience
in systems development and
database applications, web application design and development. His current job experience includes corporate and consumer financial applications
(including loan originations, CRM, online securities exchange and electronic bill presentment and payment). His technical areas of expertise includes J2EE, enterprise java bean (EJB) architecture, xml and java server page technology, Brokat (Blaze) decision engine, Active Server Pages and MQ Series. His finance background covers the knowledge of financial risk management (derivative instruments),
corporate finance and investment banking.

He received an MBA (specializing
in information technology and finance) from the Pamplin
College of Business at Virginia Tech,
Blacksburg, VA, U.S.A in 1999.
The professors with whom he worked with
are Prof. Robert T. Sumichrast (Assoc. Dean and Director of MBA program,
Virginia Tech), Prof. Dilip Shome (Head, Dept. of Finance, Virginia Tech),
and Prof. Raman Kumar (Dept. of Finance, Virginia Tech). He also completed a M.S.
degree in Chemical Engineering and a M.S. in Wood Science at Virginia
Tech. His research interests in chemical engineering were in the area
of biodegradable polymers and composites ( view the
publication abstracts). His advisor for both these masters degrees
was Prof.

Born in the eastern part of India (Bihar), Indrajit was raised in the states of West Bengal and Bihar. Presently his parents are settled in Calcutta,
one of the oldest and famous cities of India. He came over to Virginia
Tech in 1996 after completing his undergraduate degree (B.S.) in Chemical
Engineering from Indian Institute
of Technology, Kharagpur, India ( IIT
KGP Alumni Website). The schools Indrajit attended are St.Xavier's College, Calcutta
(High School), and Ramakrishna
